Arrive in the heat of the midday sun to a warm welcome, a cold beer and a hot shower at Mosethla Bush Camp where there is no running water and no electricity!
Accommodation is rustic but comfortable, simple cabins, cosy beds and hot water bottles for icy nights. The camp is surrounded by an 'elephant wire' but otherwise is open to all the wildlife.
A dining and lounge area are shielded from the elements by a sturdy roof but you will almost certainly find yourselves congregating around the campfire.
The food is excellent and plentiful and vegetarian options are available if you let the camp know in advance. Tea, coffee and softdrinks are always there and there is a good range of beer, wine and spirits.
All the facilities are spotlessly clean and easy to use once you have been shown how.
Two game drives a day led by an experienced ranger, allow you to explore the Madikwe Game Reserve. Impala, zebra and purple breasted rollers abound. But you never know what will be round the next corner. Elephant, rhino, giraffe, a warthog maybe and if you are lucky a pride of lion.
When the sun goes down South Africa reveals yet another fantastic show - the Milky Way, a gossamer swathe of light across sky so studded with stars it takes your breath away.

An
experience you will never forget.
